Every once in awhile, I come across things in Russia that inspire me to wonder "WTF were they thinking?"
This is one of those things:
It is some kind of...er...statue. On the lawns of a very expensive apartment complex. If you think you can figure out a reason, please, leave it in the comments section.

Is that a statue of a dude coming out of a manhole?
Perhaps the owner of the expensive apartment complex has a fantastic sense of humour? Because that is damn funny!
Because men who work in sewers deserve some recognition? Perhaps the apartment building has a lot of pipe problems lol
I know--I thought it was maybe a leftover of some Soviet Era celebration of the average working man, etc...but it's on private property.
